Breż is a neighborhood known for its abundance of artists, musicians, and writers. In the 1980s and 90s, Breż was known as one of the most dangerous districts in Ubenmoor, but after gentrifying in the early 2000s it became known as a destination for Lashardian hipsters.
According to the 2012 census, 57% of Breż residents identify as ethnically Lashardian, 30% as Pesan, and 7% as Zakharian, while 6% identify as other races.
There are two mosques located in Breż. According to the 2012 census, 12% of Breż residents identify as Lashardian Orthodox Christians, 32% as Muslim, 50% as atheist, agnostic, or unaffiliated, and 6% as other religions.
There are seven primary schools and twelve high schools located in Breż. Some of Breż's schools are considered the best in the nation, especially its fine arts and cosmetology high schools.
