Katia Eliza von Harken (née Ninömeyer, born 21 April 1980), known professionally as Katia Ninömeyer is a Lashardian television presenter, radio host, and actress. She is best known for being the host of The X Factor: Lashardia and Mösikalifestivali.

Ninömeyer has been dubbed "the most recognizable face of Lashardian television" and is one of the most influential television hosts in Lashardian history.

Life and careerEdit

Early lifeEdit

Katia Ninömeyer was born in Boras, Palsland to single mother Nina Tarömeyer. She was born out of wedlock to Tarömeyer when she was only 18-years-old. Ninömeyer was raised by her mother who worked as a wedding planner and her grandparents. She has never met her birth father.

Ninömeyer attended primary school in Boras, where she excelled in reading, writing, and foreign language. She went on to attend a classic and modern languages high school in Boras, with dual specialization in journalism and Titovic languages.

Following her graduation from high school in 1998, she began attending Palsland University where she majored in broadcast journalism. Following her graduation from university in 2002, she moved to Ubenmoor.

Radio careerEdit

After moving to Ubenmoor in search of career opportunities, Ninömeyer began an on-air internship with the popular morning radio show Nicki Lach (Wake Up, in English). After her one-year internship ended, she was offered a permanent on-air position with the show. In 2008, Ninömeyer left Nicki Lach after being offered the role of lead personality of her own radio show. The show titled Katia, began airing in 2009 and has since become one of the most popular morning radio shows in Lashardia.

Acting careerEdit

Ninömeyer made her acting debut in a 2010 episode of the popular crime show Detezia Jana (Detective Jana, in English), where she had a guest role. She has since held supporting roles in various Lashardian films and has acted in Lashardian TV shows.

The X Factor: Lashardia and MösikalifestivaliEdit

In 2014, after intense speculation from fans and the media, Ninömeyer was announced as the host of the reality music competition show The X Factor: Lashardia. She has since hosted both seasons, and achieved intense praise for her colorful and lively hosting. Her role as host has made her a household name in Lashardia.

In 2016, she began hosting the Lashardian song contest Mösikalifestivali. In June 2016, she was described as "the most recognizable face of Lashardian television".

Personal lifeEdit

Ninömeyer married Consensumite businessman Ludwig von Harken in summer 2008. Unlike in Lashardian tradition, she took his last name, von Harken, but still uses her birth surname professionally. The couple has two children together, Diana and Desmond. They split their time between Concord, Consensum and Ubenmoor, Lashardia.

Ninömeyer, along with the rest of her family hold dual Lashardian and Consensumian citizenship, and speak both languages fluently.
