Life and careerEdit
Pavelcha was born on 12 April 1988 in the Tenichi district of Ubenmoor to parents from Pesa. Her parents Emin and Nanna owned and operated a Pesan restaurant in Tenichi. They immigrated to Lashardia when they were 14 and 12, respectively, following the 1969 coup d'état in Pesa.
Pavelcha attended primary school in Tenichi, where she excelled in art and music, growing up listening largely to punk rock. After graduating from primary school, she began attending Queen Maria's School for the Performing Arts, where she met future bandmate Antonina Mikaelöflik
2007–2012: Early careerEdit
Pavelcha graduated from Queen Maria's with a speciality in vocal performance in 2007, and began performing professionally. She began her professional career in a three-piece R&B girl group, until she left in 2008. She later performed in an a cappella band and later an indie pop group. In 2011, she began working as a solo singer but achieved little success.
2012–present: Work with Indigo NightsEdit
In 2012, Pavelcha formed Indigo Nights along with close friend Antonina Mikaelöflik after both pursuing unsuccessful music careers for a large amount of years. The two began performing gigs throughout Ubenmoor in addition to performing as guest DJs at local clubs, until being signed to Cyclops Records in 2014.
In summer 2015, they released their debut single "All Night", a Lashpop song with heavy EDM influences produced and written by the two. The song was a success, reaching the top ten in Lashardia and the number-one spot in Pesa. Their debut studio album Yellow Mornings, was released in March 2016, and reached number-8 in Lashardia and number-3 in Pesa. It also produced the singles "Girlfriend" and "Rocket Science".
