Nika and the Rollers is a Lashardian band consisting of lead vocalist Nika Trentöhöben, lead guitarist Jon Salölö, bassist Emil Gregöberga, and drummer Tony Lagorchi. The group came to prominence during the first season of The X Factor: Lashardia, and were signed to independent label Blanket Records Lashardia following the show.

2014–2016: The X Factor: Lashardia and Planet NowhereEdit

Nika and the Rollers were formed in 2006 in Beck. In their early years, the group performed punk music and were heavily inspired by the work of Corasneft.

In summer 2014, the group auditioned for season one of The X Factor: Lashardia at the Beck auditions. They performed "Pictures of You" in front of the judges and received four yeses. At the judges' house stage, they performed "I Don't Want You" in front of their mentor Pal Nigtöfoor and advanced to the Top 20.

Being a rock band, they stood out from the other pop acts and received much praise from the judges and fans. They placed in the Bottom 3 in week five, and sang for their life against Playing God, but were eliminated in a unanimous vote to do being perceived as less marketable compared to Playing God, placing ninth. Following the show, they were signed to independent label Blanket Records Lashardia.

They released their debut single "Pirate Smile", which went on to reach number-one on the Lashardian singles chart and the Top 5 in Pesa. They later released the follow-up single "Out Here All Night" which charted in the Top 20 in Lashardia. Their debut album Planet Nowhere was released later and reached number eight on the Lashardian albums chart.

2016–present: Second studio album and Mösikalifestivali 2017Edit

In autumn 2016, the band revealed that they had begun work on their sophomore album. In December, they were revealed to be taking part in Mösikalifestivali 2017 with the song "Ooh La La". They qualified to the second chance round, but were eliminated.
