Olga Davorcha (born 27 March 1996) is a Pesan-Lashardian singer and songwriter. Davorcha came to prominence after winning season one of The X Factor: Lashardia, earning a $5 million recording contract with Akai Music Group.

Life and careerEdit

Early lifeEdit

Olga Davorcha was born on 27 March 1996 in Santa Anastasia, the capital of Pesa. Her mother Melania was a housekeeper at a resort while her father Devan was a cook at the same resort. She has a younger brother Alvin and a younger sister Stefania. The family was working class.

Davorcha attended primary school in Santa Anastasia, and later moved to Ubenmoor, Lashardia at the age of 15 to attend Queen Maria's School for the Performing Arts, graduating in 2014.

2014–2016: The X Factor: Lashardia and The ImmigrantEdit

In summer 2014, following her graduation from high school, Davorcha auditioned for the first season of The X Factor: Lashardia. She auditioned in front of the judges singing "Catch My Breath" by Olia Janisöpfleg. After passing through bootcamp, she performed "I Feel Invincible" by Era in the judges' house, in front of her mentor Sabine Bursöhurt.

Davorcha progressed to the live shows as a member of the Top 20. On 26 March, she won a place in the final along with Zig Novölark and Dabor Nanömine. The following week, she was declared the winner. Her prize was a $5 million recording contract with Akai Music Group. She was officially signed to the label a week after her win.

Davorcha's debut single "Stand By You", debuted at number-one on the Lashardian singles chart, also reaching number-one in her native Pesa. She later released the top 10 single "Radioactive". Her debut studio album The Immigrant was released in 2016. The album's third single, "The Barbies" was released in June 2016.

She took part in Mösikalifestivali 2016 with the song "Superman", and won the contest.

2016–present: Second studio albumEdit

In autumn 2016, Davorcha revealed that she had begun working on her second studio album and that it'd have "more of a pop feel". She released the album's lead single, "Hair", in January 2017. The song peaked at number-one on the Lashardian singles chart.

Personal lifeEdit

Davorcha became a Lashardian citizen the day before her audition for The X Factor. She is of mixed-Pesan descent and is a Muslim. Currently, Davorcha and her family reside in MorganaUbenmoor. She speaks fluent Lashardian, Pesan, and English. She is close friends with singers AnaMarina and Greta Eriköfrend, in addition to child of Hans Grötöjohanes, Palina Hansöjohanes.
