Life and careerEdit
Pal Nigtöfoor was born on 11 December 1980 in Vershando, Mortasland. His mother Emilia worked as a primary school teacher, while his father Nigt was a hotel manager. Nigtöfoor has a younger sister Lotta. The family was middle class.
He attended primary school and a performing arts high school in Vershando, before moving to Ubenmoor in 1999 to pursue a career in music.
Upon moving to Ubenmoor, he began performing as the bassist in the band Eye of the Needle. In 2002, while performing with the group, he met and befriended Era, who was already a well-known act in Lashardia. Seeing potential in him, she recruited him to help her with her second studio album Elemental. Nigtöfoor produced eight of the twelve songs on the album and cowrote four of them with Era.
The album went on to be extremely successful, turning Era into a household name and making Nigtöfoor one of the most desired producers. He went on to collaborate with Lashardian musicians such as Sox, Wolfeblood, and Malisa.
The X Factor: LashardiaEdit
In 2014, Nigtöfoor was announced as the first of four judges for the reality music competition show The X Factor: Lashardia. Among the other judges were Nigtöfoor's long time collaborator Era's ex-bandmate Darya Shashinöbach. In the first season, Nigtöfoor judged the groups, but none of his acts made it to the finals.
